FINANCIAL ACCOUNTANT

We’re on the lookout for a Financial Accountant to join our Sydney team! In this dynamic role, you’ll be at the heart of financial reporting, tax compliance, and process improvement.  If you thrive on solving complex problems, enjoy working with data, and have a passion for accuracy, this is the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and monthly management reports.
• Assist with annual reporting packs and audit queries.
• Support tax compliance activities, including GST, income tax, and FBT returns.
• Develop Excel templates and reports for financial analysis.
• Contribute to process improvements and system enhancements.
• Provide financial support across Corporate Finance as required.

What We’re Looking For

• Degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.
• CA or CPA qualification preferred.
• Strong Excel skills.
• Experience in financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Experience in derivatives preferred.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, Planning Analytics (TM1 Cognos), and Power BI is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
